TECNIUM offers this starter motor for POLARIS SPORTSMAN 550, SPORTSMAN 550 EPS, SPORTSMAN 550 X2, SPORTSMAN 550 XPS 4X4, SPORTSMAN 550 XPS TRG 4X4 2009-2014. When you press the button, the starter relay sends battery current to the starter motor. It spins very fast and turns the engine through a set of gears until the engine fires.

Why replace the starter motor?
