LASER TOOLS special tool

LASER TOOLS offers this special tool. Some jobs need a purpose-made tool: holding the clutch basket while undoing its nut, pressing a valve down to change a shim, locking the engine at the right timing point or turning a suspension adjuster without damaging it.

Why a special tool?

The benefits:

• Shape and dimensions made for the part: the tool stays in place and does not slip.
• Delicate jobs (timing, valve clearance, clutch) done yourself, without going to a workshop.
• Treated or machined steel depending on the model: the tool keeps its dimensions use after use.

Why choose LASER TOOLS?

Laser Tools began in 1976 on a market stall in Leamington, England, where Martin Smith sold automotive tools; the brand belongs to The Tool Connection, based in Southam, Warwickshire. The company designs and manufactures specialist tools in Sheffield and works closely with vehicle manufacturers to develop new ones.

When should you replace this tool?

Worn, bent or loose-fitting pins, dowels or profile: replace the tool, it would slip on the part and throw the adjustment off.
