A tool for undoing the oil filter without crushing it, even when it is very tight.
DRAPER offers this oil filter wrench. On many engines, the oil filter is a metal canister screwed onto the engine and changed at every oil change.
The benefits:
Draper is a British family business founded in 1919 by Bert Draper in Kingston upon Thames, based since 1963 in Chandler’s Ford, Hampshire, and run by the family for three generations. Its catalogue lists more than 11,000 hand, power and automotive tools and workshop equipment items.
A cracked cup or one with rounded flutes, a stretched or frayed strap, worn plier jaws: replace the wrench, it slips and tears the filter instead of undoing it.
Cross-Mania tip: Choose a cup with the exact diameter and number of flutes of your filter, and tighten the new filter by hand or to the manufacturer’s torque, with its seal oiled: the wrench is mainly for removal.
Workshop tool: it works on any motorcycle or ATV. Just check the size or dimension stated.
