The small part screwed into the cylinder head that makes the spark to ignite the air-fuel mixture and keep the engine running.
NGK offers this spark plug for CAN-AM DS 90 2005. On every turn (two-stroke) or every other turn (four-stroke), the ignition sends a high voltage to the plug: a spark jumps between its electrodes and ignites the mixture in the cylinder.
Why replace the spark plug?
The benefits:
- A new plug gives a strong spark: easier starting, a smoother engine, fewer misfires.
- An inexpensive part that is quick to change: it is one of the first things to check when the engine starts or runs badly.
- Iridium version: a steadier spark and a longer life than a standard plug.
Why choose NGK?
NGK, the Japanese manufacturer founded in 1936 with roots in the ceramics industry, is the leading original-equipment spark plug supplier; its plug caps contain a ceramic resistor that suppresses interference without affecting how the engine runs.
When should you replace this part?
Rounded or eroded electrodes, black or oily deposits, a cracked insulator, hard starting or misfires under acceleration: replace the plug.
