The small red or amber reflector that sends headlight beams back, so the machine can be seen at night even with its lights off.
V PARTS offers this reflector. A reflector uses no power: its surface is made of tiny prisms that send light back to where it came from, that is, to the driver whose lights are on you.
Why fit a reflector?
The benefits:
- No wiring or bulb: it always works, even with a flat battery.
- Adhesive for quick fitting without drilling, bolt-on for parts that vibrate.
- Small and light, it fits on a plate holder, a fender or an ATV frame.
Why choose V PARTS?
V PARTS is the technical parts brand of Bihr, an Alsace-based distributor founded in 1975 by Cyrille Bihr, which started out as a bicycle and motorcycle repair workshop in Hegenheim. Now based in Bartenheim, Bihr supplies more than 200,000 items from seven European warehouses to thousands of motorcycle dealers.
When should you replace this part?
A reflector that is cracked, dull, coming unstuck or heavily scratched sends back much less light: replace it.
Specifications and fitting tips
- Manufacturer part number: 11753
Cross-Mania tip: For an adhesive model, clean and degrease the surface and stick it on at room temperature, not in the cold; on a part that vibrates a lot, a bolt-on model holds better.
