The small white light that shines on the number plate so it can be read at night; depending on the model, it is built into a tail light.
BIHR offers this number plate light. At night, the number plate must be readable: a small white light, above or beside it, shines on it as soon as the lights are on.
Why choose an LED number plate light?
The benefits:
- LED: no filament to break from vibration, and very low power draw.
- Compact housing, easy to place on a short plate holder.
- Version built into the tail light: one unit to mount for both functions.
Why choose BIHR?
Bihr is a distributor from Alsace founded in 1975 by Cyrille Bihr, who started out with a bicycle and motorcycle repair shop in Hegenheim. Based in Bartenheim, it supplies more than 200,000 parts from seven European warehouses and develops its own range of parts and workshop tools.
When should you replace this part?
A light that no longer comes on, some LEDs out, a cracked or misted housing: replace it, the plate must stay readable at night.
