VIBRAM Frame Guards - Blue for HUSQVARNA TC 85 and KTM SX 85 2016-2018

The VIBRAM M7345B set of frame guards is designed for KTM SX 85 and HUSQVARNA TC 85 from 2016 to 2018. Frame guards fit on the frame rails, where your boots rub. They stop the paint or aluminium wearing through and getting scratched, and give your boots grip to squeeze the bike between your legs.

Key features

• Non-slip rubber in a very hard-wearing compound, which improves boot grip against the frame.

• Frame scratched or paint worn where your boots rub.
• Boots sliding on the frame when you grip the bike.
• Old guards peeling off, torn or worn smooth.

Check the model and years: the guards follow the shape of the frame. Fit them on a clean frame, ideally before wear gets through the paint or into the aluminium.

Fitting tips

1. Clean and degrease the frame area thoroughly, then let it dry.
2. Dry-fit each guard to find its exact position, on the right side and the left side.
3. Peel the backing off the adhesive and fit the guard, pressing firmly over its whole surface.
4. Let the adhesive cure, ideally overnight at room temperature, before riding or washing the bike.

Why VIBRAM?

Vibram, founded in 1937 by Vitale Bramani and based in Albizzate (Italy), takes its name from its founder. The inventor of the lugged rubber sole, Vibram puts its expertise in non-slip rubber to work in frame guards for off-road bikes.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to apply heat when fitting them?
In cold weather, gently warming the frame and the adhesive with a hairdryer helps them bond. Avoid fitting them on a damp or cold frame.

Do the guards get in the way when riding?
No: they follow the shape of the frame and actually improve how well your boots hold against the bike.
