AXP offers this skid plate for GAS GAS EC 250, EC 300 2018-2020. The skid plate bolts to the frame, under the engine. In enduro, the underside of the bike often hits rocks, logs and ledges: without protection, the engine case can crack and leak oil.
Why fit a skid plate?
The benefits:
- The engine case is protected from rocks and stumps.
- The bike slides over logs and ledges instead of getting hung up.
- Depending on the model, it also protects the suspension linkage and the bottom of the frame.
When should you replace the skid plate on your GAS GAS EC 250?
