AXP Xtrem Skid Plate - HDPE 8mm for GAS GAS EC 250, EC 300 2021-2023

AXP offers this skid plate for GAS GAS EC 250, EC 300 2021-2023. The skid plate bolts to the frame, under the engine. In enduro, the underside of the bike often hits rocks, logs and ledges: without protection, the engine case can crack and leak oil.

Why fit a skid plate?

The benefits:

• The engine case is protected from rocks and stumps.
• The bike slides over logs and ledges instead of getting hung up.
• Depending on the model, it also protects the suspension linkage and the bottom of the frame.

When should you replace the skid plate on your GAS GAS EC 250?

A skid plate that is cracked, badly gouged or with loose mountings no longer protects: replace it.

Cross-Mania tip: Check it does not get in the way of the oil drain or the hoses, and check the mounting bolts after the first rides.
