The RACETECH front fender is designed for GAS GAS EC 250, EC 300, ECF 250, ECF 350, MC 125, MCF 250, MCF 450 from 2021 to 2023. The front fender stops the mud, dirt and stones thrown up by the front wheel. It is the most exposed bodywork part: it takes branches, crashes and ruts head-on.

Choosing the colour

All colours have the same shape: pick the one that matches your other plastics or your graphics.

When to replace it?

• Fender cracked, broken or bent after a crash.
• Cracked mounting holes: it rattles or moves on the clamp.
• Faded colour or heavily scratched plastic.

Check the bike's model year: the shape and the spacing of the mounting points often change from one generation to the next. A universal fender fits standard triple clamps but sometimes needs the holes redrilled.

Fitting tips

1. Unscrew the old fender, keeping the bolts and washers.
2. Offer up the new one on the lower triple clamp and check that it touches neither the tire nor the brake hose when the fork is fully compressed.
3. Tighten the bolts in a criss-cross pattern, without crushing the plastic.
4. Check that the speedometer cable or the brake hose runs through its guides.

Is a vented fender any use?
The openings let more air through to the radiator and less mud builds up, which lightens the front end a little in sticky terrain.
