TECNIUM offers this clutch steel plate kit for YAMAHA YFM 200, YFM 225, YTM 200 1983-1989. The clutch is a stack of plates: friction plates and plain steel plates. When you release the lever, the springs squeeze them together and the engine drives the gearbox.

When should you replace the clutch plates on your YAMAHA YFM 200?
Measure the friction plate thickness and the spring free length: below the manufacturer's minimum they must be replaced. Blued or warped steel plates are replaced too.
