The clutch’s steel plates that sit between the friction plates to pass the engine’s power to the gearbox.

HINSON offers this clutch steel plate kit for YAMAHA WR 250, WRF 450, YFM 700 RAPTOR 2WD, YFZ 450, YZ 250 and FANTIC XEF 450, XEF 450 RALLY, XX 250 1993-2026. The clutch is a stack of plates: friction plates and plain steel plates. When you release the lever, the springs squeeze them together and the engine drives the gearbox.
