INNTECK Clutch Steel Plate Kit for HONDA CRF 150 2007-2026

The INNTECK ACS304 clutch steel plate kit is designed for HONDA CRF 150 from 2007 to 2026. In the clutch, the steel plates alternate with the friction plates. When the clutch overheats, they turn blue and warp: the clutch drags, judders or no longer disengages cleanly.

When to replace it?

• Clutch that drags or judders, neutral hard to find with the engine hot.
• Plates blued, glazed or marked at the tabs.
• Warpage out of tolerance, measured with a feeler gauge on a surface plate (or a sheet of glass).

Every time you replace the friction plates, if the steel plates are warped or blued, and after a bad bout of clutch slip.

Fitting tips

1. Oil the plates before fitting them.
2. Alternate friction plates and steel plates in the original order, without leaving one out.
3. Check the clutch springs and tighten to the manufacturer's torque.
4. Close up with a new clutch cover gasket and fresh gearbox oil.

If they're close to the minimum thickness, yes: new friction plates and new steel plates give you a clutch that's as good as new.
