The cylinder the piston moves up and down in: the heart of the engine.

CYLINDER WORKS offers this cylinder for YAMAHA YFM 700 GRIZZLY EPS 4WD, YFM 700 GRIZZLY EPS CAMO 4WD, YFM 700 GRIZZLY EPS XT-R, YFM 700 KODIAK 4WD, YFM 700 KODIAK EPS 4WD 2007-2025. The cylinder is the part the piston moves up and down in thousands of times a minute. Its inner wall has a very hard coating that resists wear and holds compression.

Why replace the cylinder?

The benefits:

Replace a cylinder that is scored, seized or worn beyond its size.
A new coating holds compression for a long time.
New piston and new cylinder: the best base for a reliable engine.

Why choose CYLINDER WORKS?

Cylinder Works supplies brand-new, not remanufactured, cylinders with a nickel-silicon-carbide coating; its kits come with a matched forged Vertex piston.

When should you replace the cylinder on your YAMAHA YFM 700 GRIZZLY EPS 4WD?

A scored or oval cylinder, or one with damaged plating, loses compression and wears the piston quickly. Measure the bore at every top-end rebuild: beyond the wear limit the cylinder must be replaced or resleeved.

Specifications and fitting tips
