      WISECO offers this piston ring set for YAMAHA YZ 250, KAWASAKI KDX 220, SUZUKI TS 250 and HONDA CR 250 ELSINORE, MT 250 ELSINORE 1971-2005. Rings are thin steel bands sitting in the piston grooves. They press against the cylinder wall to hold compression and scrape oil.

      Why replace the rings?

      The benefits:

      • Regain compression and power.
      • Reduce oil consumption and smoke.
      • A cheap fix when piston and cylinder are still within spec.

      Why choose WISECO?

      Wiseco has forged its pistons in Mentor (Ohio, USA) since 1941 and controls the whole process, from aluminium bar to the friction-reducing ArmorGlide skirt coating. Its pistons are developed with Team Honda HRC in Supercross (450 class since 2018).

      When should you replace the piston rings?

      Harder starting, loss of power, blue smoke, oil consumption or a knock when cold: these are the signs of a tired top end.
