WOSSNER piston ring set for YAMAHA TY 125 1976-1989 - 3030243

WOSSNER offers this piston ring set for YAMAHA TY 125 1976-1989. Rings are thin steel bands sitting in the piston grooves. They press against the cylinder wall to hold compression and scrape oil.

Why replace the rings?

The benefits:

• Regain compression and power.
• Reduce oil consumption and smoke.
• A cheap fix when piston and cylinder are still within spec.

Why choose WOSSNER?

Wössner has forged its own pistons since 1994: Molykote-coated skirt to reduce friction and ease running-in, kit supplied complete with rings, pin and clips.

When should you replace the piston rings on your YAMAHA TY 125?

Harder starting, loss of power, blue smoke, oil consumption or a knock when cold: these are the signs of a tired top end.

No manufacturer hour figure for this model. Cross-Mania guideline: compression check every 20 h in hard use and every 40 h for leisure.
