      WOSSNER offers this piston ring set for KTM EXC-F 350 WESS, EXCF 350, SXF 350, XCF 350, HUSQVARNA FC 350, FE 350, BETA RR 350 and GAS GAS ECF 350, MCF 350 2016-2024. Rings are thin steel bands sitting in the piston grooves. They press against the cylinder wall to hold compression and scrape oil.

      Why replace the rings?

      The benefits:

      • Regain compression and power.
      • Reduce oil consumption and smoke.
      • A cheap fix when piston and cylinder are still within spec.

      When should you replace the piston rings?

      Harder starting, loss of power, blue smoke, oil consumption or a knock when cold: these are the signs of a tired top end.

      Recommended hours for a top-end rebuild (manufacturer recommendation for the KTM SX-F, Husqvarna FC 2016-2022):

      • Racing: every 50 h.
      • Leisure: no KTM figure; Cross-Mania guideline: compression check at around 100 h.
      • KTM EXC-F, Husqvarna FE 2017-2023: racing: every 70 h.
