TECNIUM offers these piston pin circlips. On each side of the piston, a clip stops the pin from sliding out and scoring the cylinder.
Why new clips?
The benefits:
- Secure pin retention at every reassembly.
- A tiny but essential part.
When should you replace this part?
The pin and its clips are replaced with every new piston. A pin that is marked, blued or loose in the piston must be replaced straight away.

Cross-Mania tip: Never reuse old circlips: they distort when removed. Position the circlip gap away from the notch in the piston.
