PROX offers these piston pin circlips. On each side of the piston, a clip stops the pin from sliding out and scoring the cylinder.
The benefits:
ProX has its pistons made in Japan and the USA, with Japanese rings (Riken, TP or NPR) and tolerances at least equal to OEM; most of its four-stroke pistons are forged.
The pin and its clips are replaced with every new piston. A pin that is marked, blued or loose in the piston must be replaced straight away.
Cross-Mania tip: Never reuse old circlips: they distort when removed. Position the circlip gap away from the notch in the piston.
Universal part: check the dimensions given before ordering.
