WORKS CONNECTION Aluminium Skid Plate for SUZUKI RMZ 250 and KAWASAKI KXF 250 2004-2006

The WORKS CONNECTION 10-190 skid plate is designed for KAWASAKI KXF 250 and SUZUKI RMZ 250 from 2004 to 2006. The skid plate protects the bottom of the engine and frame from rocks, roots and hits on ledges. It stops an impact from cracking a crankcase or damaging the water pump, the kind of breakage that can end a day's riding.

Fitting tips

1. Clean the bottom of the engine and frame, and check the condition of the mounting points.
2. Offer up the skid plate and start its fasteners without tightening, checking that it touches neither the gear lever, nor the brake pedal, nor the hoses.
3. Tighten the bolts gradually, then check that nothing rubs with the suspension compressed.
4. Check that everything is still tight after the first few rides: vibration can loosen the fasteners.
