On SUZUKI DRZ 400 from 2000 to 2009, the RACETECH pair of side panels fits in place of the original part. Fitted on each side under the seat, the side panels shield the air box and the shock from spray and carry the numbers. A new pair is often enough to freshen up the bike.
All colours have the same shape: pick the one that matches your other plastics, your graphics or the background colour of your numbers.
Check the bike's model year: the shape of the panels follows that of the air box and the rear loop. A vented panel lets more air into the air box.
Racetech, now also sold under the Rtech name, is an Italian brand launched in 2002 by Cristian Mittone, a former professional enduro rider, and based in Premariacco, near Udine. Its catalogue runs to more than 5,000 parts in plastic, aluminium and rubber, from plastic kits to handguards and chain guides.
Does a vented panel let water in?
It lets in more air, and therefore more dust and water: check and service the air filter more often, especially after washing.
Check the exact model and year of your bike in the list below before ordering.
