The RACETECH R-PMKTMAR0154 skid plate is designed for KTM SX 125, XCW 125, HUSQVARNA TC 125, TE 125 and GAS GAS EC 125, MC 125 from 2023 to 2027. The skid plate protects the bottom of the engine and frame from rocks, roots and hits on ledges. It stops an impact from cracking a crankcase or damaging the water pump, the kind of breakage that can end a day's riding.

When do you need it?

Fitting tips

1. Clean the bottom of the engine and frame, and check the condition of the mounting points.
2. Offer up the skid plate and start its fasteners without tightening, checking that it touches neither the gear lever, nor the brake pedal, nor the hoses.
3. Tighten the bolts gradually, then check that nothing rubs with the suspension compressed.
4. Check that everything is still tight after the first few rides: vibration can loosen the fasteners.
