RACETECH Side Panels for KTM EXC, SX 1998-2004

The RACETECH pair of side panels is designed for KTM EXC 125, EXC 200, EXC 250, EXC 300, EXC 450, EXC 520, EXC 525, SX 125, SX 200, SX 250, SX 380, SX 400, SX 525 from 1998 to 2004. Fitted on each side under the seat, the side panels shield the air box and the shock from spray and carry the numbers. A new pair is often enough to freshen up the bike.

Choosing the colour

All colours have the same shape: pick the one that matches your other plastics, your graphics or the background colour of your numbers.

When to replace it?

• Panels scratched or whitened by boot rub.
• Plastic cracked around the screws or broken after a crash.
• Numbers that no longer stick on a badly marked plastic.

Check the bike's model year: the shape of the panels follows that of the air box and the rear loop. A vented panel lets more air into the air box.

Fitting tips

1. Remove the seat if necessary, then the old panels, keeping the hardware.
2. Clean the air box and check that the filter is properly seated before closing it up.
3. Screw in without forcing, then fit your numbers on clean, degreased plastic.
