The RACETECH R-FIKTMGASX00 air box cover is designed for KTM EXC 150, EXC 250, EXC 300, EXCF 250, EXCF 350, EXCF 450, EXCF 500, SX 125, SX 150, SX 250, SXF 250, SXF 350, SXF 450 from 2018 to 2023. The air box cover closes off the side of the air box under the seat: it protects the filter from spray and finishes off the look of the bike. It sits right against the rider's leg, which is why it gets scratched and cracked over time.

      Specifications

      • Brand: RACETECH
      • Manufacturer part number: R-FIKTMGASX00
      • EAN code: 8054111782401

      When to replace it?

      • Cover cracked, broken or scratched by boots.
      • Mounting points torn out: it rattles or lets dust in.
      • Faded colour, or different from the rest of the plastics.

Check the bike's model year and the side (left or right) when it is given. A vented cover lets more air into the air box, but also more dust.

      Fitting tips

      1. Remove the seat if necessary, then the old cover, keeping the hardware.
      2. While you are there, check the condition and the oiling of the air filter.
      3. Refit the new cover, checking that it sits flush against the air box.

      Why RACETECH?

The brand has supplied the plastics for Mitch Payton's Pro Circuit Kawasaki team, one of the most successful teams in AMA Supercross, as well as for the Beta Offroad Factory team. Its Worx chain guide is a one-piece design fitted with a removable, self-lubricating TPU internal wear pad.

      Frequently asked questions

What is a vented cover for?
It improves airflow, which helps on dry, fast terrain. In mud or rain, a solid cover protects the filter better.
