WORKS CONNECTION Aluminium Skid Plate for KAWASAKI KXF 250 2017-2020

The WORKS CONNECTION 10-197 skid plate is designed for KAWASAKI KXF 250 from 2017 to 2020. Mounted under the engine, the skid plate takes the hits instead of the crankcases and the frame. In enduro and on rocky terrain it's essential protection; in motocross it also limits wear on the bottom of the frame.

When do you need it?

Fitting tips

1. Clean the bottom of the engine and frame, and check the condition of the mounting points.
2. Offer up the skid plate and start its fasteners without tightening, checking that it touches neither the gear lever, nor the brake pedal, nor the hoses.
3. Tighten the bolts gradually, then check that nothing rubs with the suspension compressed.
4. Check that everything is still tight after the first few rides: vibration can loosen the fasteners.
