RACETECH Fork Guards for KAWASAKI KLX 450, KX 125, KX 250, KXF 250, KXF 450 2006-2016

On KAWASAKI KLX 450, KX 125, KX 250, KXF 250, KXF 450 from 2006 to 2016, the RACETECH pair of fork guards fits in place of the original part. Fixed to the fork lowers, the fork guards protect the inner tubes and the fork oil seals from spray. A wraparound model also protects the back of the lowers.

Choosing the colour

All colours give the same protection: pick the one that matches your other plastics or your graphics.

When to replace it?

• Fork guards cracked or broken, mounting points torn out.
• Warped plastic rubbing on the inner tube.
• Faded colour, or different from the rest of the plastics.

Check the bike's model year: the fork guards follow the shape of the fork lowers and the routing of the front brake hose.

Fitting tips

1. Remove the old fork guards and keep the screws and the hose clamps.
2. Clean the fork lowers and check the condition of the inner tubes and of the fork oil seals.
3. Refit the new ones, putting the brake hose back in its guides, then tighten without forcing.
