RACETECH Side Panels for KAWASAKI KX 125, KX 250 2003-2008

The RACETECH pair of side panels is designed for KAWASAKI KX 125, KX 250 from 2003 to 2008. The side panels (number plates) trim the rear of the bike below the seat and carry the race numbers. They are the plastics your boots rub against most: they get scratched, turn white and eventually crack.

Choosing the colour

When to replace it?

• Panels scratched or whitened by boot rub.
• Plastic cracked around the screws or broken after a crash.
• Numbers that no longer stick on a badly marked plastic.

Check the bike's model year: the shape of the panels follows that of the air box and the rear loop. A vented panel lets more air into the air box.

Fitting tips

1. Remove the seat if necessary, then the old panels, keeping the hardware.
2. Clean the air box and check that the filter is properly seated before closing it up.
3. Screw in without forcing, then fit your numbers on clean, degreased plastic.
