The plastic cover that closes the airbox on the side of the bike and protects the filter from water and mud.
RFX offers this airbox cover for KAWASAKI KX 250, KX 450 2019-2024. The engine draws its air through a filter housed in the airbox, under the seat. The cover closes this box on the side and stops water and mud reaching the filter directly.
Why replace the airbox cover?
The benefits:
- Replace a cracked, broken or faded cover.
- Keep the filter sheltered from water and mud.
- Original shapes and mounting points: fitted with the bike’s own bolts.
When should you replace this part?
Replace it when it is cracked, warped or its mounts are broken: it no longer closes the airbox properly.
