A kit of wear parts to restore your carburettor: gaskets, float needle, screws and small parts depending on the model.
PROX offers this carburettor repair kit for YAMAHA YZF 450 2007-2009. The carburettor prepares the air-fuel mixture the engine needs, through small passages and very precise parts.
Why a repair kit?
The benefits:
- All the wear parts in one order: no second strip-down for a forgotten seal.
- A sealed carburettor no longer leaks onto the hot engine or in the van.
- Much cheaper than a new carburettor when the body is in good condition.
Why choose PROX?
ProX, the Dutch engine-parts specialist since 1975, has its parts made in factories that also supply the manufacturers: OEM quality at a more affordable price.
When should you replace this part?
Fuel leaking around the bowl, a carburettor that overflows, an idle that hunts or hard starting despite a correct setting: the seals and float needle are tired, rebuild the carburettor.
