TWIN AIR Radiator Sleeves for KTM SX 85 and HUSQVARNA TC 85 2013-2017

The TWIN AIR 177759SL43 set of radiator sleeves is designed for KTM SX 85 and HUSQVARNA TC 85 from 2013 to 2017. Radiator sleeves are fine-mesh covers slipped over the radiators. They stop dirt, sand and mud before they clog the fins: air keeps flowing and the engine stays at a good temperature.

Key features

• Nylon-coated glass-fibre mesh that slips over the radiators.
• Holds back dirt, sand and mud to prevent the radiators clogging up and overheating.

Specifications

• Brand: TWIN AIR
• Manufacturer part number: 177759SL43
• EAN code: 8720239731477
• Engine: 2-stroke

When do you need it?

• Riding in mud, sand or dust.
• Radiators that often clog up, engine running hot.
• Old sleeves torn or stretched.

The sleeves are made for the shape of your bike's radiators: check the model and years. Wash them after every muddy ride: clogged mesh blocks the air just like a dirty radiator.

Fitting tips

1. Remove the radiator shrouds if necessary and clean the radiators.
2. Pull each sleeve over its radiator, stretching it tight, without covering the mounts or the hose fittings.
3. Refit the radiator shrouds and check that nothing rubs, with the bars turned to full lock both ways.

Why TWIN AIR?

Twin Air, a Dutch brand founded in 1972, made its name with foam air filters, which according to the brand are fitted as original equipment by more than 30 manufacturers. Its off-road range also covers seats, radiator protection, mud foam and oil cooling kits.

Frequently asked questions

Do the sleeves make the engine run hot?
When they're clean, they let the air through. It's built-up mud and dust that cause problems: wash them with water after every ride.

Does the product contain a pair?
The pack size is given in the name: a pair, or a single sleeve for bikes with only one radiator.
