A guard fitted to the radiators so a crash or a stone does not bend or puncture them.
AXP offers this radiator guard for KAWASAKI KX 250 2021-2024. The engine coolant flows through the radiators, where air passing between thin aluminium fins cools it down.
Why fit a radiator guard?
The benefits:
- Radiators that stand up better to crashes and flying stones.
- Less risk of a coolant leak in the middle of a ride.
- A guard costs far less than a new radiator.
When should you replace this part?
A guard that is cracked, broken or bent, or loose mountings: replace it before an impact reaches the radiator.
