The protective plate fitted under the engine, shielding it from rocks, tree stumps and ledges.
IRON BALTIC offers this skid plate for POLARIS RZR PRO 1000 XP 2020. The skid plate bolts to the frame, under the engine. In enduro, the underside of the bike often hits rocks, logs and ledges: without protection, the engine case can crack and leak oil.
Why fit a skid plate?
The benefits:
- The engine case is protected from rocks and stumps.
- The bike slides over logs and ledges instead of getting hung up.
- Depending on the model, it also protects the suspension linkage and the bottom of the frame.
Why choose IRON BALTIC?
Founded in Estonia in 2006 by two engineers, Iron Baltic started out making custom ATV skid plates and still designs and manufactures its products in Estonia. Its skid plates come in 4 mm brushed marine aluminium or 10 mm HDPE.
When should you replace the skid plate on your POLARIS RZR PRO 1000 XP?
A skid plate that is cracked, badly gouged or with loose mountings no longer protects: replace it.
