A USB socket (or 12 V, depending on the model) mounted on the bike, to charge a phone or GPS while you ride.
DAYTONA offers this USB socket. A phone used as a satnav drains quickly: the USB socket takes power from the bike’s battery and converts it to charge your devices.
Why fit a USB socket on the bike?
The benefits:
- Phone and GPS stay charged for the whole ride.
- Waterproof cap: the socket stays clean and dry in rain and mud.
- Aluminium or plastic body depending on the model: aluminium is tougher, plastic is lighter.
Why choose DAYTONA?
Daytona is a Japanese company founded in Osaka in 1972, based since 2001 in Mori, Shizuoka Prefecture, and listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. It designs and develops its own motorcycle parts and accessories, from electrical equipment to instruments, and has owned Dirt Freak, a Japanese off-road parts specialist, since 2017.
When should you replace this part?
Corroded socket, lost waterproof cap, charging that cuts out or a damaged cable: replace it, a bare wire can cause a short circuit.
