PROFILTER Billet Aluminium Oil Filter Cover for KTM EXC 450, SXF 350, SXF 450 2007-2014

The PROFILTER BCA-5002-00 oil filter cover is designed for KTM EXC 450, SXF 350, SXF 450 from 2007 to 2014. The oil filter cover closes off the filter housing on the crankcase of a four-stroke engine. Machined from solid aluminium, it stands up to knocks and repeated removal better than many stock covers.

When to replace it?

• Stock cover cracked or marked after an impact.

Check the model and model years: the shape and mounting points are specific to each engine. Always fit a new O-ring.

Fitting tips

1. With the engine cold, drain the oil and remove the old cover.
2. Replace the oil filter and clean the sealing face on the crankcase.
3. Fit a new, lightly oiled O-ring on the cover.
4. Tighten the bolts in a criss-cross pattern to the torque in the manual, without overdoing it in the aluminium crankcase, then top up the engine oil.

Frequently asked questions

Can I reuse the O-ring?
No: a hardened or crushed O-ring can no longer guarantee a good seal. Fit a new one at every oil change.
