PROFILTER Billet Aluminium Oil Filter Cover for KAWASAKI KXF 250 and SUZUKI RMZ 250 2004-2014

The PROFILTER BCA-3401-00 oil filter cover is designed for KAWASAKI KXF 250 and SUZUKI RMZ 250 from 2004 to 2014. The oil filter cover closes off the filter housing on the crankcase of a four-stroke engine. Machined from solid aluminium, it stands up to knocks and repeated removal better than many stock covers.

When to replace it?

Fitting tips

1. With the engine cold, drain the oil and remove the old cover.
2. Replace the oil filter and clean the sealing face on the crankcase.
3. Fit a new, lightly oiled O-ring on the cover.
4. Tighten the bolts in a criss-cross pattern to the torque in the manual, without overdoing it in the aluminium crankcase, then top up the engine oil.

Can I reuse the O-ring?
No: a hardened or crushed O-ring can no longer guarantee a good seal. Fit a new one at every oil change.
