ACOUSTA-FIL offers this exhaust heat wrap. The header is the exhaust pipe coming out of the engine: it gets scorching hot within minutes.

Cross-Mania tip: Wear gloves and long sleeves (the fibres irritate the skin), wet the wrap before winding it on so it pulls tight, overlap each turn on the previous one and secure the ends with stainless steel ties.
