MUC-OFF offers this air filter cleaner. The foam air filter on off-road bikes is soaked in a sticky oil that traps dust and sand. As you ride, the foam clogs: the engine breathes poorly and loses power.

Why a dedicated air filter cleaner?

The benefits:

• It dissolves filter oil far better than soapy water alone: the foam comes out properly clean.
• Unlike petrol or solvents, it does not harden the foam or attack the filter’s glue.
• A clean filter lets air through and stops sand: the engine keeps its power and wears less.

When should you replace this part?

Clean the filter at the intervals in the manual, and much more often in dust or sand; keep a second clean, oiled filter to swap in at the track.
