      BOYESEN offers these reed petals for KTM EXC 250, EXC 300, EXC 380, SX 250, SX 380 1999-2004. In the reed valve, thin reeds open to let the mixture in and close to stop it coming back out.

      When should you replace the reeds on your KTM EXC 300?

      A petal that no longer seals, or that is split or frayed, must be changed straight away: a piece drawn into the engine can damage it.

      • Manufacturer part number: SSC142

      Cross-Mania tip: Fit the petals the right way round (marking facing out) without bending them, and secure the screws with threadlocker.
