On KTM SX 65, SX 85, SX 105, XC 65, XC 85, XC 105 from 2003 to 2012, the MOTION PRO 14-9005 brake lever fits in place of the original part. Right at your fingertips, the brake lever has to be rigid, properly adjusted and free of play. A bent or broken lever throws off your brake control, or even stops you braking at all.

When to replace it?
- Lever bent, broken or snapped short after a crash.
- Play in the pivot, lever that moves sideways.
Replace it as soon as it's bent or cracked: a straightened lever can snap the next time you brake.
Fitting tips
- Undo the lever pivot bolt and remove the old lever, keeping any bushing.
- Lightly grease the pivot bolt and the pivot with a suitable grease, without putting any grease on the master cylinder pushrod.
- Fit the lever, then tighten the pivot bolt and the locknut without binding the movement.
- Adjust the free play and the lever position, then check the brake with the bike stationary.
