MOTION PRO forged Brake Lever for KTM and HUSABERG 2000-2008

The MOTION PRO 14-9003 brake lever is designed for KTM EXC 125, EXC 200, EXC 250, EXC 520, EXC 525, MXC 200, MXC 250, MXC 520, SX 65, SX 125, SX 200, SX 250, SX 520, SX 525, SXF 450 and HUSABERG FC 550, FE 450, FE 501, FE 550 from 2000 to 2008. Right at your fingertips, the brake lever has to be rigid, properly adjusted and free of play. A bent or broken lever throws off your brake control, or even stops you braking at all.

When to replace it?

• Lever bent, broken or snapped short after a crash.
• Play in the pivot, lever that moves sideways.

Replace it as soon as it's bent or cracked: a straightened lever can snap the next time you brake.

Fitting tips

1. Undo the lever pivot bolt and remove the old lever, keeping any bushing.
2. Lightly grease the pivot bolt and the pivot with a suitable grease, without putting any grease on the master cylinder pushrod.
3. Fit the lever, then tighten the pivot bolt and the locknut without binding the movement.
4. Adjust the free play and the lever position, then check the brake with the bike stationary.
