The bearing that lets the wheel spin freely on its axle.

NTN offers this wheel bearing for KTM EXC 250, EXC 300, EXCF 250, SX 125, SX 250, BETA EVO 125, EVO 200, EVO 250, RR 250, RR 350, HUSQVARNA FE 250, FE 350, FE 450, FE 501, TC 250 and HUSABERG FC 450, FC 550, FE 501, FE 650, FS 650 1979-2023. Each wheel spins on two bearings in the hub, separated by a spacer. Water and mud eventually damage them: play, rough spots, noise.

What is this bearing made of?

Races and balls in hardened chrome steel, 100Cr6 type, very hard and fatigue-resistant, protected by rubber seals.

Double seal (2RS): a seal on each side, very well sealed against water and mud, essential off-road.
Limit: slightly more drag than a metal-shielded bearing (ZZ), which spins more freely but seals far less well.
Fitting: press or drift it in on the outer race, never hammer on the seal; keep the pressure washer away from the hubs.

Why choose NTN?

NTN, the Japanese bearing maker founded in 1918, is the brand chosen by engine specialists such as ProX for their crankshaft bearing kits.

When should you replace the bearings?

Check the wheels for play at every wash with the wheel off the ground: a failing bearing can lock the wheel. Pressure washing forces water in and speeds up wear.
