The expansion chamber of a 2-stroke engine: its shape determines where the engine makes its power.

INNTECK offers this expansion chamber for KTM, HUSQVARNA, GAS GAS and HUSABERG 1999-2027. On a 2-stroke, the pressure wave reflected by the pipe helps fill the cylinder: the shape of the cones decides whether the engine pulls low down, in the midrange or at the top end.

Why change the expansion chamber?

The benefits:

Replace a dented pipe: even a small dent changes the power curve.
Choose an engine character to suit your riding.
A clean new pipe, with no leaks at the welds or joints.

Why choose INNTECK?

Innteck, the Italian motorcycle-parts distributor founded in 2004 in Piedmont and part of the Athena group since 2023, develops off-road wear parts under its own brand with a carefully judged price-quality ratio.

When should you replace the expansion chamber?

Dented or cracked pipe, broken mounting brackets or mixture leaking at the joints: replace it, the loss of power is often obvious.
