PIVOT WORKS Fork Seal Kit for KAWASAKI KLE 650 2007-2016

The PIVOT WORKS PWFSKZ019 fork seal kit is designed for KAWASAKI KLE 650 from 2007 to 2016. The oil seals keep the oil inside the fork and the dust wipers stop the mud before it reaches the seals. When they are tired, oil leaks onto the tube: the fork loses damping and oil can run onto the brake disc.

When to replace it?

• Film of oil on the fork tube after a ride.
• Oil on the front brake caliper or disc.
• Fork diving faster, less damping.

At the first leak. As a Cross-Mania guideline: fork oil change and seal check every 20 to 30 hours of racing, once a season for leisure riding.

Fitting tips

1. Drain the fork and strip it as per the manual (a seal driver is recommended).
2. Cover the tube with plastic film so the new seals slide on without cutting their lips.
3. Fit the oil seal squarely, then the clip and the dust wiper.
4. Refill with fresh fork oil to the manufacturer's level and viscosity.
