The bearings that let the swingarm pivot freely so the rear suspension works properly.
ALL BALLS offers this swingarm bearing kit for KAWASAKI KX 125, KX 250 1998. The swingarm pivots on needle bearings protected by seals. Water and mud make them seize: the suspension gets stiff and play appears.
What is this bearing made of?
Races and balls in hardened chrome steel, 100Cr6 type, very hard and fatigue-resistant, protected by rubber seals.
- Double seal (2RS): a seal on each side, very well sealed against water and mud, essential off-road.
- Limit: slightly more drag than a metal-shielded bearing (ZZ), which spins more freely but seals far less well.
- Fitting: press or drift it in on the outer race, never hammer on the seal; keep the pressure washer away from the hubs.
Why choose ALL BALLS?
Complete All Balls kits: low-friction bearings and steel-spring nitrile seals, everything you need in one box.
When should you replace this part?
Side play when you rock the swingarm with the rear wheel removed, or a notchy movement: the bearings need changing.
