WISECO titanium Intake Valve for KTM SX 450, SXF 450 2003-2006

WISECO offers this intake valve for KTM SX 450, SXF 450 2003-2006. A four-stroke engine breathes through its valves. The intake valves open to let the air-fuel mixture into the cylinder, then close perfectly tight during combustion.

Titanium or steel valve?

The material is shown in the product name.

• Titanium: about 40% lighter than steel, it allows high revs without valve float; it costs more and its coating wears faster if the seats and guides are tired.
• Steel or stainless: heavier, but very wear-resistant and cheaper; as a replacement for titanium it lasts longer, with springs suited to its weight.
• Tip: replace valves as a set, have the seats checked and fit new valve stem seals.
