TOURMAX Condenser Yamaha - DHO-17

TOURMAX offers this capacitor. A capacitor stores a little electricity and releases it straight away, like a small buffer tank.

Why fit a capacitor?

The benefits:

• Ride without a battery: less weight and no battery to charge or replace.
• Steady lighting, even at idle, instead of a headlight that dims as soon as the revs drop.
• A steady supply for the ignition, fuel injection and dash.

Why choose TOURMAX?

Tourmax has its parts made in Japan by suppliers to the major Japanese manufacturers, at OEM quality level according to the brand.

When should you replace this part?

Lights that flicker or dim at idle, a fuel-injected engine that starts badly or stalls, or a swollen or leaking case: replace the capacitor.

Specifications and fitting tips

• Replacement Condenser
• Quality equal to OEM
• Manufacturer part number: DHO-17

Cross-Mania tip: Observe the polarity (+ and −) when connecting it, as a capacitor wired the wrong way round is destroyed, and mount it away from vibration and water spray.
