Specifications

Brand: PROX
Manufacturer part number: 26.450068

When to replace it?

Play at the rear when you lift the wheel.
Spherical bearing or bearing that binds, clunking noise at the rear.
Rusty bearing or marked sleeve at disassembly.

Check these bearings every time you remove the shock and at the same time as the linkage. Check whether it is the upper or the lower mount (given in the name).

Fitting tips

Remove the shock as per the manual.
Press out the old bearing or spherical bearing and clean the mounting eye.
Press in the new bearing, with the seals and sleeves packed with waterproof grease.
Refit the shock and tighten the pivot bolts to the manual's torque.
