On HUSQVARNA TC 65 and GAS GAS MC 65 from 2017 to 2027, the INNTECK RBP-14B rear brake pedal fits in place of the original part. The pedal operates the rear brake, which is essential off-road for placing the bike in corners and braking on descents. Exposed to rocks and crashes, it bends easily: a bent pedal throws off the free play and can make the brake drag.

When to replace it?

• Pedal bent, tip broken or teeth worn.
• Play in the pivot.

Replace it as soon as it's bent or cracked: straightening steel or aluminium weakens it.

Fitting tips

1. Remove the old pedal, noting the position of the return spring and of the master cylinder pushrod.
2. Clean and grease the pivot bolt with a suitable grease.
3. Fit the pedal, its spring and the pushrod, then tighten to the manufacturer's torque.
4. Set the height and the free play: the brake must not drag with the pedal released.
