TWIN AIR Air Filter Oval Ø50mm

TWIN AIR offers this air filter. The engine draws in huge amounts of air. Sitting in the airbox, the filter catches dust, sand and mud before they reach the carburettor or injection, and then the cylinder.

Why a foam air filter?

The foam traps dust throughout its thickness thanks to the special oil it is soaked in, while letting plenty of air through.

• Excellent airflow for the engine, even as the filter starts to load up.
• Washable and reusable many times: far cheaper than a disposable filter.
• Limit: it must be cleaned and oiled regularly, after every dusty ride; badly oiled or damaged, it lets dust through – the main cause of engine wear.

Why choose TWIN AIR?

Twin Air invented the dual-layer foam filter in 1972 and is original equipment for more than 30 manufacturers: fine filtration, washable and reusable.

When should you replace the air filter?

Replace the filter as soon as the foam is torn, hardened or coming away from its frame: dust that gets through wears the piston and cylinder in a few hours.
