Each kit typically includes a forged piston in high-strength alloy, rings, pin, circlips and a top-end gasket kit to ensure a complete and reliable rebuild. Pistons are made from aeronautical aluminum alloy 2618 or equivalent, offering an excellent compromise between lightness, strength and resistance to high temperatures. Their optimized design improves combustion, limits hot spots and ensures greater stability at high revs for consistent performance. The low-friction skirt coating reduces wear and eases running-in, while extending engine life. This racing design ensures more precise engine response and optimum reliability in intensive motocross or enduro riding.
